Seattle Business Magazine Accepting Nominations For 2017 Executive Excellence Awards
SEATTLE, Oct. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle Business magazine is accepting nominations of Washington's most accomplished C-suite executives for its 2016 Executive Excellence Awards. Now in its fifth year, the program recognizes executives who best demonstrate the ability to inspire, lead and serve as role models for other business leaders. Executives are honored in several categories, including CEO, CFO, CMO, general counsel and nonprofit executive.
Previous honorees include Richard Galanti, EVP and CFO of Costco Wholesale; Arthur Rubinfeld, former chief creative officer of Starbucks; Spencer Rascoff, CEO of Zillow Group; Dean Allen, CEO of McKinstry; Mary Pugh, CEO of Pugh Capital Management; Theo Beack, CTO of Vertafore; and Sue Sherbrooke, CEO of YWCA Seattle King Snohomish.
A panel of experts culls the nominations down to winners in about 15 categories. All of the finalists will be featured in the February 2017 issue of Seattle Business magazine and honored at the Executive Excellence Awards Gala on January 25, 2017, at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle.
To be eligible, an executive must either work for a company or organization headquartered in Washington State or for a corporate subsidiary with a substantial operation in Washington State. Candidates must have been in their current roles for at least two years. Nomination is free; entries can be submitted through a simple online form.
The Executive Excellence Awards program receives generous support from presenting sponsor Regence Blue Shield and signature sponsors Seattle University Albers School of Business and Economics, Alaska Airlines and Banner Bank.
