Second Annual VELD Music Festival Set to Launch in Toronto on August 3 - 4, 2013

TORONTO, April 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - The second annual VELD Music Festival, presented by INK Entertainment, Canada's leading lifestyle and entertainment company, will heat up the summer music lineup on August 3 & 4 at Downsview Park in Toronto. Spanning across two days with over 30 internationally acclaimed EDM acts, this year's Festival showcases some of the most revered names in electronic music, all performing "under the stars."

"Downsview Park, with its ideal configuration, will transform into Canada's largest outdoor music venue for two days," says Festival Producer Talal Farisi, of INK Entertainment, who has been working for the better part of the year to create a stellar line-up for the second Festival. With both stages offering excellent sightlines, state-of-the-art lighting, video, and sound design; and, most importantly, an intimate connection to the stage, VELD 2013 will offer an even greater range of electronic music genres for people of all ages. In addition, the VIP experience will be enhanced with front of the line access to the venue and line-by-pass wristband pick-up. The Festival will feature a 19 + VIP area tented for 2000 guests, complete with a dedicated bar, washrooms, seating, and priority parking. Bottle service will be offered and must be booked in advance.

The VELD Music Festival is intended to become an important cultural destination for the city of Toronto, southern Ontario, and the Golden Horseshoe region with plans underway to take the Festival to other Canadian cities in 2014.
