Secure IP Telecom appoints Paul Rius as Vice President of Business Development
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Secure IP Telecom, Inc. (SIPT) today announced Paul Rius has been appointed Vice President of Business Development. Rius has over 25 years of experience in operations, general administration, sales, and business development in the field of competitive telecommunications.
Rius served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Teltrust Communications where he helped the company grow to $150M in yearly revenues and later held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Com Tech International/Nations Telecom where he played a key role in growing the company's yearly revenues from $29M to $103M. Rius has also held positions as President of the telecommunications division at IPEX, Inc., CEO of Routetrader, Inc., and Chief Strategy Officer of KC135, Inc. Rius was also the recipient of the ACTA (America's Carriers Telecommunications Association) Founder's award during his tenure as President for the association where he served two terms.
