In the modern day hospital, more and more medical devices, such as IV pumps, ventilators, MRI, CAT Scan and X-Ray machines are attached to hospital networks. On June 13, 2013 the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced draft guidelines for hospitals and medical device manufactures to take in response to the growing threat of cyber attacks.
