Security On-Demand Announces Acquisition of Infobright Analytics & Technology Assets

SAN DIEGO, May 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Security On-Demand Inc., ("SOD") the leading provider of advanced threat detection and analytics services announced today it has acquired Infobright Approximate Query (IAQ) technology and Intellectual Property assets from Infobright Corporation.  

The IAQ technology IP was developed by the world's leading data scientists in large-scale data analytics who used Rough Set Math Theory to develop the world's first AQ analytics engine. Since 2016, SOD worked closely with Infobright's Warsaw, Poland-based R&D team to channel 15 years of foundational database development into a mature and functional technology able to support the scale of SOD's massive volumes of log data.

In addition, the upgraded service will include new security threat analytics capabilities, a new customer portal, and significant performance enhancements.
