DALLAS, March 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Securus Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of inmate communications services, investigative technologies, corrections/law enforcement/ emergency information technology services, and active global positioning systems (GPS) based offender monitoring devices announced today the acquisition of Telerus, headquartered in Denver, Colorado.  Telerus is the leading provider of sophisticated automated interactive voice response systems to the corrections sector throughout the United States.
