AutoPay allows customers to automatically fund their prepaid AdvanceConnect calling account with a preset amount of their choice when their account balance is low. Customers that subscribe to AutoPay will also have the choice to receive either an email or text message payment confirmation. This service ensures that customers always have funds in their accounts and eliminates blocked calls due to insufficient funds.
Consumers who subscribe to TextPay receive low-balance or payment-due notifications, and can easily pay their bill by responding to the text message. In addition to these two new free programs, friends and family members can also opt in to receive low-balance and payment-due text notifications.
"Our focus is on the customer," said Russell Roberts, Vice President of Marketing and Strategy. "AutoPay and TextPay make funding accounts easier than ever and also help ensure calls are connected." Mr. Roberts continued, "Having a loved one in jail is never easy, and that's why we want to take the worry out of missing calls by proactively notifying customers when their balance is low and even automating the funding process for them. The best part is that we provide these services completely free of charge."
