Sedgwick CMS Announces Intent to Acquire the Assets of Nationwide Better Health's Productivity Solutions

MEMPHIS, Tenn., May 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. (Sedgwick CMS) today announced that they have signed an agreement with Nationwide Better Health, a subsidiary of Nationwide®, to purchase the assets of its Productivity Solutions business.  

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Nationwide Better Health is a leading provider of health and productivity management solutions aimed at improving the health and productivity of America's workforce.  The Productivity Solutions division specializes in integrated absence management and leave programs that help clients reduce their occupational health care costs and improve workplace productivity.

Sedgwick CMS is the largest North American provider of innovative claims and productivity management solutions to small, mid-sized, and large organizations. The company provides claims administration, managed care, program management, and related services.

Client services will remain in Ohio.

The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of 2011.
