Japan's Largest Chemical Organisation Selects SuccessFactors to Optimize Business Performance and Align Corporate Goals

SAN MATEO, Calif., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today SuccessFactors, Inc. (Nasdaq: SFSF) announced that Sekisui Fuller Limited, the largest industrial adhesive business in Japan, has selected the SuccessFactors Business Execution Software (BizX) Suite to develop its internal talent and cascade its corporate goals from the boardroom to the workforce. The board-level initiative will ensure Sekisui Fuller is able to execute on its corporate strategy and align goals throughout its subsidiary organisations.

In 2005, Sekisui and HB Fuller merged their Japanese adhesive business to create a new entity called Sekisui Fuller. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Sekisui Fuller is now the largest industrial adhesive business in Japan with approximately $150 million in revenue. Sekisui Fuller's main business focus is to manufacture adhesive products with the latest technology for the household, industrial, construction and civil engineering markets. Their parent company, Sekisui Chemical Co Ltd, has close to 20,000 employees and is one of the world's biggest compound manufacturers.

In late 2009, SuccessFactors and PriceWaterhouseCoopers announced their official partnership to deliver the largest Business Execution Powerhouse team in Japan.  Sekisui Fuller will be deploying SuccessFactors' Goal Management, Performance Management and Stack Ranker solutions.
