Selective Insurance Group Announces Officer Appointments

BRANCHVILLE, N.J., Aug. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Selective Insurance Group, Inc. announced the following appointments by its subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America:

Thomas E. Case (Branchville, NJ) to assistant vice president, Business Intelligence. Mr. Case joined Selective in 1981 and has held a variety of positions throughout the company prior to being named Business Intelligence manager in 2008. Mr. Case holds designations as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, a Certified Insurance Counselor and a Project Management Professional.

Christopher K. Nickol (Woodstock, IL) to assistant vice president, Regional Safety Operations Manager for Selective's Heartland Region. Mr. Nickol joined Selective in 2007 as a Senior Safety Management Specialist. He earned a B.S. in Management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN and holds designations as both a Certified Safety Professional and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist.
