Senior HR Executive Oscar German Joins Alder Koten
Oscar German, Senior Human Resources Executive and Officer for multinational organizations such as BHP Billiton, Pride & Seahawk Drilling, RigNet and Holland Chemical International joins Alder Koten.
HOUSTON, Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Alder Koten, the consulting firm that helps shape organizations through a combination of research, executive search, cultural & leadership assessment, and other talent advisory services, announced today that Oscar German has joined the firm as managing partner and senior advisor at the firm's office in Houston. He will be part of the firm's energy practice and will collaborate in executive search work focused on board members, C-level executives, senior management roles, and will lead the human resources officer's practice.

Oscar will perform leadership search work focused on senior level roles in the manufacturing, natural resources, industrial, and business services sectors. He will provide consulting engagements related to M&A integration, organizational development, performance management, executive compensation, and change management.
Oscar brings over twenty years of experience as senior human resources executive and officer for multinational organizations such as BHP Billiton, Pride & Seahawk Drilling, RigNet and Holland Chemical International. He has led teams and executed projects in over twenty countries. He and his family previously lived overseas in Santiago, Chile where he was the Vice President- Human Resources for BHP Billiton Base Metals. There he worked closely assessing and creating development plans for the senior (C-level) executives in the region while transforming Human Resources from an administrative department to a strategic business partner.
He has significant experience leading and executing major projects in the areas of M&A, due diligence, and integration, cost containment strategies and rightsizing initiatives, talent acquisition and retention, succession planning, people development and employee relations.
Oscar holds a Bachelor's Degree in finance from the University of Houston-Downtown and is currently pursuing a Master in Arts in organizational leadership. He is fluent in English and Spanish with conversational Portuguese. He previously was chosen as one of the top 20 Executive Role Models in the United States selected nationwide in the "Life Savers Take a Bigger Role Award." Oscar is passionate about developing leaders in particular the younger generation. He can be found speaking to students throughout the city on leadership subjects.
