Sensational Soave Master Class Series Introduces Soave "2.0"
Advanced Sommelier Seminars Return to the New York and San Francisco Markets
NEW YORK, Aug. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Soave Consortium welcomes back its Sensational Soave Master Class series, with more advanced Soave tastings in New York and San Francisco on September 9 and 10, respectively. Eager to showcase the variety and depth of the Veneto's acclaimed white wine producing region, the master class and luncheon series will focus on a selection of wines with Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein at the helm.
The double blind tasting of Soave Crus will allow trade and media participants the opportunity to discover the diversity and complexity achieved within the region's storied hillsides.
"The '2.0' master class seeks not only to educate but to excite key trade and media about Soave and its Crus by presenting the region's most distinguished wines in an engaging, hands-on format," says Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein. "As the second fastest growing Italian category in the US, according to Nielsen data, Soave has consumers interested in Italy's leading white wine more than ever."
Offered to New York and San Francisco trade and media by invitation only, the master class will culminate with a three-course luncheon, featuring wine pairings that highlight Soave's versatility.
"We look forward to deepening US trade and media's existing understanding and appreciation of Soave by offering the region's best wines as their guide," says Giovanni Ponchia of Soave Consortium. "With the Soave '2.0' series, we're excited to see the master class progress to a higher level of learning, after the great success and interest in our introductory seminars last year."
