Services for Female and Other Veterans With Disabilities Available Thursday, March 4, 2010
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y., March 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Applications are being accepted for female veterans, and other veterans to receive free job training, career and education guidance, job search assistance and other specialized services from the Institute for Social Renewal, a new program funded by Veterans Support Organization.
Computer training classes that enhance job skills and qualifications are being offered at the Institute for Social Renewal new state-of-the-art facilities. ISR is a new Veterans Support Organization Training Center opened March 2, 2010 designed to provide services to veterans who have been suffering from chronic homelessness and/or un-employability.
The Center works with a wide range of businesses and organizations, including employment agencies for veterans and persons with disabilities. VSO also expects to provide OJT training to over 200 in 2010.
