NEW YORK, June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Seth Linden has been appointed president of Dukas Public Relations (DPR), a fast-growing financial public relations agency. Richard Dukas, founder of DPR, will remain CEO and become the agency's chairman. Linden, who joined DPR in 2006 as senior account executive, was previously DPR's executive vice president.
"As DPR continues to grow and solidify its position as one of the 'go-to' financial agencies in the industry, the time was right for Seth to assume a greater leadership role," said Dukas. "A consummate PR professional, he has played an integral role in DPR's success to-date—as a client service practitioner and as a manager of our staff and the agency as a whole."
Over the past three years, DPR has grown significantly, both in the number and quality of its clients as well as in the breadth and depth of its service offerings. DPR represents more than 40 companies, and its asset management and wealth advisory clients manage approximately one trillion dollars in aggregate. In recent years, DPR has added a variety of new and enhanced services offerings, including content creation, message development and brand positioning, social/digital media, and presentation coaching.
Prior to joining DPR, Linden, 37, was an on-air journalist with NBC affiliates covering Capitol Hill. During that time, he honed his media relations and journalistic skills, which he expertly leverages to the benefit of DPR's clients. While he will assume a greater managerial role as president, Linden will continue to manage the agency's Financial & Professional Services group and lead DPR's media and presentation coaching services.
"Richard has built a high-quality firm that has a reputation for media relations excellence and thoughtful senior counsel," said Linden. "Working together to run the agency, we hope to build our national brand, expand our service offerings even further, and enhance our reputation as one of the top specialty public relations firms in the industry today."
