GREEN BAY, Wis., June 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Shopko Foundation is excited to announce the recipients of its Shopko Teammate and Family Scholarship for the 2012-2013 school year. The Foundation awarded scholarships to 20 students in nine states.
Since 2005, the Shopko Foundation has awarded scholarships totaling $300,000 through its Teammate and Family Scholarship Program which annually awards post-secondary scholarships to Shopko employees and their dependent children. The $2,500 scholarships are awarded through a competitive process based on the students' academic record, leadership, community activities, honors and goals. Recipients were determined by an independent selection committee comprised of Wisconsin educators.
