This new location in Gainesville will mark the first of its kind for Shula's new design prototype. The new design for Shula's Steak Houses will feature warm woods, paired with cool accents and deep blues to convey a feeling of warmth and sophistication.
The menu will feature the cuisine that has made Shula's Steak Houses famous, including Shula Cut® steaks, fresh seafood, and house-made sides. Shula Cut® steaks are center cuts of Premium Black Angus beef that are hand-selected based on 10 science-based specifications and aged for an average of 28 days to optimize flavor and tenderness. The cattle used for The Shula Cut® are finished on a diet that is rich in corn to maximize marbling. Only about 1% of all steaks make The Shula Cut®.
A nationally recognized, award-winning steak house, Shula's Steak Houses opened its first location in 1989 and has since expanded to more than 30 locations throughout the US. Shula's is consistently awarded Wine Spectator's Annual Award of Excellence and holds many OpenTable and TripAdvisor awards.
This new location will be a part of the $15 million renovation at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center Gainesville. The Arden Group recently hosted an informative event to reveal extensive plans for the renovation.
