NEW YORK, Nov. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sidoti & Co., LLC will hold yet another Micro-Cap Conference on January 9, 2012 at The Grand Hyatt New York Hotel in midtown Manhattan.  These semiannual events attract a growing audience of portfolio managers, investment advisors, pension fund advisors and analysts, retail brokers and high-net-worth individuals.  While this constituency already has exceptional knowledge of the micro-cap universe, they are attracted by the new ideas Sidoti conferences invariably provide.  At the upcoming gathering, approximately 100 companies few investors have heard of will explain how they tick, how they are different, and what makes them worthy investments.

Sidoti held its first Micro-Cap Conference two years ago, well aware that thousands of micro-cap companies meet or exceed large-cap companies in terms of favorable P/E ratios, strong cash flow, and low debt.  The firm was confident that, although largely ignored, micro-caps were worth every bit of effort required to enlighten the investment community.
