NEW YORK, Feb. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Siegel+Gale (www.siegelgale.com) today announced that Howard Belk, its co-CEO and chief creative officer, and Brian Rafferty, the firm's global director of customer insights, will speak at Columbia Business School's BRITE '12 conference on Monday, March 5. Mr. Belk and Mr. Rafferty will present the findings of Siegel+Gale's recently published Global Brand Simplicity Index and reveal why simplicity is an essential part of building and sustaining a successful brand.
The 2011 Global Brand Simplicity Index, a survey of more than 6,000 consumers in seven countries, evaluates brands in a wide range of industries and discovers the leaders and laggards in measures of simplicity. Siegel+Gale also provides an in-depth analysis of the impact of simplicity on brands in the report. According to the findings, simplicity is essential to a brand's success, and a key ingredient in boosting profits.
"Siegel+Gale helps organizations apply the powerful concept of simplicity to communications and experiences across all brand touchpoints," said Gail Nelson, Global CMO at Siegel+Gale. "We're excited to join a list of esteemed speakers at this year's event and look forward to sharing innovative ideas and critical thinking on branding with participants."
The BRITE Conference (www.briteconference.com), hosted by Columbia Business School's Center on Global Brand Leadership, is in its fifth year and will attract over 350 leaders in business, technology, marketing and media. The conference takes place March 5–6 at Columbia University.
