NEW YORK, Aug. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Siegelvision, a strategic brand identity firm founded by Alan Siegel to help causes and corporations achieve clarity of purpose, clarity of expression and clarity of experience, announced today that Frank Liu has been appointed Chief Creative Officer. Liu has created award-winning programs for a wide range of organizations, including the Robin Hood Foundation, one of world's most innovative and powerful nonprofits.
"Frank is the real deal—an accomplished problem solver, collaborator and articulate communicator," said Alan Siegel, President and CEO of Siegelvision. "We are thrilled to have such a talented and high-energy designer who is committed to helping causes, companies and government achieve clarity, which is such an important part of our ethos."
Before joining Siegelvision Liu led the in-house design team at the Robin Hood Foundation, where he oversaw all the visual elements for the organization's renowned benefits, concerts and fund-raising events. Liu's most notable contribution was the creation of the iconic 12.12.12 logo for "The Concert for Sandy Relief," the widest distributed live musical event in history.
"It is truly an honor to join Siegelvision, whose commitment to helping causes and companies achieve clarity in all that they do is one of my guiding principles," said Frank Liu. "There is nothing more fulfilling than telling impactful stories in imaginative ways, and with creative excellence. It's the perfect recipe for bringing the Siegelvision experience to life."
Liu has lended his personal creative passion to nonprofits such as Asian American/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy, Museum of Chinese in America and Asian Americans for Equality, among others. Earlier in his career he was the Creative Director and Partner for Gotham Inc., where he led projects for Maybelline, Sony Ericsson, Hennessy, Medco, Bank of America, Bausch & Lomb, Priceline and Liz Claiborne.
Liu has worked at leading agencies such as Grey, Deutsch, JWT, Cohn & Welles and Mezzina Brown. Among the numerous clients who benefited from Liu's imaginative and original work include Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Chase Manhattan Bank, Ikea, Mitsubishi, Sprint, Air France, Aetna and the United States Mint.
