Silent Crow Expands, Enlisting TV Veterans George Puckhaber and Maura Teitelbaum
NEW YORK, Feb. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Silent Crow Arts (Barnwood Builders, Road To…, Driving America) have expanded their boutique NYC factual production business by adding George Puckhaber as Head of West Coast Operations, and Maura Teitelbaum as Head of TV/Lit.
Puckhaber reports to SCA's General Manager, Tim Mann, while collaborating with SCA's founder and President, Matt Bennett, to devise and execute content, enlist talent, procure personnel and further establish the Silent Crow brand in Hollywood.
Puckhaber served as VP of Production at Original Productions for more than a decade under Thom Beers, executing some of the largest non-fiction hits in television history. During that time, he collaborated extensively with Bennett and Mann in several joint productions, including Discovery's After the Catch.
Maura Teitelbaum is joining Silent Crow as Head of TV/Lit, leading the charge in scripted content, books and overall sales. Maura reports to Bennett directly, coordinating efforts with Development Head, Jenn Lee and SCA's reps at Gersh.
As Bennett's former TV/Lit agent, Teitelbaum created the successful book division for Abrams Artists Agency, and has continued to represent and brand writers and talent from all corners of the entertainment industry. Teitelbaum's presence is a natural step for SCA, whose staff comes largely from scripted entertainment.
"We are EXTREMELY fortunate to have Maura and George on our team," said Bennett in a statement. "I've never met anyone who understands high-end production logistics like George, and Maura has always had a keen acumen, and relationship, with the entire entertainment marketplace. She's going to be a great value add, not just for our scripted department, but for all our television and publishing clients."
