Sizzling new star Rita Ora selected as VEVO's new LIFT artist

NEW YORK, May 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Roc Nation / Columbia Records newest singing sensation, Rita Ora is ready for blast off as she is featured for VEVO's next emerging artist LIFT promotion.

Rita smashed onto the UK charts featuring on the No.1 hit by DJ Fresh's "Hot Right Now."  With her brand new single "R.I.P." taking the #1 spot on the charts this week, she is the first singer of 2012 to have two #1's in the UK this year.  Now, she is preparing to race up the radio charts with her debut US single "How We Do (Party)."

The sizzling new VEVO LIFT artist was introduced to the states by a surprise visit to New York's Z100.
