Sklar Kirsh Expands Entertainment & Media Practice with Hillel Elkins
Former Business Affairs Exec and General Counsel brings Film/TV Development, Production and Distribution Expertise to the Firm
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sklar Kirsh LLP announced today that Hillel Elkins, formerly Executive Vice President for Business and Legal Affairs at Relativity Media, has joined the firm as a Partner in its Entertainment & Media Group.
Elkins is the third former general counsel to join the firm in recent years from entertainment companies, further distinguishing Sklar Kirsh as an unrivaled law firm serving companies and executives in the Entertainment and Media industry. Michael Rosner, former General Counsel at Relativity and an entertainment and commercial finance specialist, joined the firm in 2013, and Scott Ehrlich, former General Counsel at Deluxe Entertainment and an M&A specialist, joined in 2016.

Elkins, a graduate of the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He spent seven years at Loeb & Loeb before becoming General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs at Blumhouse Productions. After Blumhouse, Elkins joined Relativity, ultimately heading its Business & Legal Affairs department.
