Sky Foundation Commemorates Fifth Anniversary at Annual Luncheon
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Sky Foundation, Inc., will hold is fifth annual fundraiser on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at The Townsend Hotel, 100 Townsend St., Birmingham, MI from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The event is held during November in recognition of National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
The foundation raises awareness of pancreas cancer, funds research for the prevention and treatment of the disease, and serves as a resource for those affected by pancreas cancer.
Rod Meloni, Detroit (WDIV) NBC Channel 4's Business Editor, will return as Master of Ceremonies for the event that will include live and silent auctions. Auction items are unique and often one-of-a kind. All funds raised from the event support the foundation's pancreas cancer research efforts.
