SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined February 2013 Traffic For SkyWest Airlines And ExpressJet Airlines

ST. GEORGE, Utah, March 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) ("SkyWest") today reported that passenger boardings for February increased 2.4 percent to 4,269,786 compared to 4,170,431 for the same period last year.  SkyWest also reported a 1.8 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for February, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 1.3 percent compared to February 2012. The combined airlines generated 2.2 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs decreased to 2.8 billion. Load factor increased to 78.5 compared to 76.1 in February 2012.  SkyWest also reported a decrease of 0.5 percent in departures to 106,928 for February compared to 107,469 for the same period last year.
