Smart Cities, Seattle and Portland, Get Even Smarter with the Launch of Migo - a New Search Engine for On-Demand Rides

SEATTLE, Aug. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Migo, the search engine for on-demand rides, has launched its free new service in Seattle and Portland today after a three month beta test period with over 200 Seattle and Portland-based users. Migo is the first app available in the U.S. that allows users to search, compare and hail multiple types of personal transportation, such as Lyft, Car2Go, Seattle Yellow Cab and more, without having to jump from one app to another. The Migo app displays real-time data for price estimates and wait/walk time - and makes it possible to search, hail and book a ride, all from within the Migo app. In-app payment is available for many partners today and will expand in the future.

The new service is launching first in Seattle and Portland on the iPhone, and is expanding quickly to additional markets and to Android. Seattle and Portland are key launch cities for Migo in part because of their role in the White House Smart Cities Initiative, which was launched in 2015 to help deliver smart city solutions, including eco-friendly transportation options that best leverage the cities' resources and infrastructure.
