Smile Generation®-Trusted Dentists Travel Abroad to Serve Those in Need

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 26, Smile Generation-trusted dentists and Pacific Dental Services® (PDS®) team members embarked on a trip to the Mission at Natuvu Creek on the island of Vanua Levu, Fiji's second largest island, to provide free dentistry to those in need.

During their visit to the Mission, the team of dentists and staff members helped nearly 170 children and adults in need, performing tooth extractions, restorations and cleanings. The team brought critical oral care and preventive dental health education to residents who otherwise have no access to dental services.

The group included Dr. Nicole Smith from Beach Dental Group in Huntington Beach, CA; Dr. Ariella Pessah from Candlewood Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics in Lakewood, CA; and Dr. Keith Johnson, Rose Dental Group and Orthodontics in Oxnard, CA. Accompanying the dental care team were Jen Hamilton, Operations Manager, Imperial Dental Practice and Orthodontics in Yucaipa, CA; Brian Taylor, Operations Manager, Stoneridge Dental Group and Orthodontics in Moreno Valley; PDS Marketing Director Matt Hall; We Serve Manager Kyle Guerin; and We Serve Specialist Rachael Parker.
