Smitten Kitten Minneapolis to Host Local Artists for Month of December

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Feminist sex toy retailer Smitten Kitten will host local artists in a December Art and Craft Show in Minneapolis.  The show, which will feature all local artists and craft makers, will run from December 2nd through the 31st.  To kick off the month long show, the store will be hosting an opening night party on Thursday, December 2nd at 7 p.m.  Guests will be treated to delicious food, crafts, and a chance to meet with the artists in the show.  This is the second year that Smitten Kitten Minneapolis has hosted a December art and craft show.  Last year's show was an incredible success and many of the artists that showed were asked to continue to exhibit their work in the store throughout the year.  Art and crafts ranged from large paintings, sculptures, illustration, custom slips, pasties, and masks.  The Smitten Kitten is committed to being a strong community partner in many different ways, one of which is the promotion of local art, local craft production, and local consumerism.  The opening night party is free and open to everyone.  Smitten Kitten will be taking artist applications until the 19th of November.  Please contact [email protected] for more information.
