Solix, Inc. Selected to Provide Web & Payment Processing Services for State's Employment Training Program Experience in Maximizing Results for Public-Private Partnerships Cited

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Feb. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Solix, Inc., the leader in Qualification Process Outsourcing (QPO) for government, telecommunications and utility customers, today announced it has been selected to provide services for a western state's training-for-hire program that includes developing a web-based management platform and processing payments to participating employers.

Solix's extensive experience in effectively managing public-private partnerships with complex regulatory requirements was a factor in its being selected at the end of a RFP process as were the company's expertise in administering various aspects of programs, including data management and disbursements.

The program, led by the state's Department of Human Services, helps individuals become gainfully employed and businesses to reduce the expense of searching for applicants and training. Enrolled individuals learn on-the-job skills through an apprentice-like structure with participating private-sector employers who are reimbursed for an initial period of time. Individuals who complete the reimbursement period have overwhelmingly been retained by employers.
