The Toll-Free Industry Awards were established to recognize individuals and companies that are at the forefront of innovation and thought leadership in the Toll-Free Industry. The following winners were chosen based on their merit, industry commitment and above-and-beyond contribution to the Toll-Free Industry:

Advocacy Award:
The Advocacy Award is given to a model individual or organization that has engaged in successful advocacy activities over the past year and/or has a proven track record of positively affecting the industry. This year's winner is David Greenhaus, 800response. David Greenhaus has been a tireless advocate on behalf of the Toll-Free Industry. David has been a long-time member of the ATIS-SNAC and has been co-chair for many years. ATIS-SNAC is the industry group that works through Toll-Free issues and maintains the Toll-Free Guidelines. In addition, David has also been a member of the North American Numbering Council, a federal advisory council that advises the FCC on numbering issues. He has been active in many FCC proceedings over the years and has been a very positive influence on the entire industry.

Fraud Fighter Award:
The Fraud Fighter Award is given to an individual or organization actively working to protect the public from fraudulent activities and scams within the Toll-Free Industry. This year's winner is Utilities United Against Scams. Utilities United Against Scams (UUAS) represents more than 100 utilities fighting fraud in the utility industry. UUAS and its member companies have helped to shut down nearly 2,000 Toll-Free Numbers used by scammers against utility customers. UUAS is a constant advocate for fighting fraud in the industry and participates in many conferences and meetings spreading the word.

Campaign of the Year Award:
The Campaign of the Year Award is given in recognition of an outstanding marketing campaign that has promoted Toll-Free Numbers in a fresh new way. Eligible campaigns include any campaign active between August 2017 through July 2018. This year's winner is 1-800- HOMECARE™. 1-800-HOMECARE™ has been on a mission to connect patients with home health providers for two decades. Operating under a Shared Use model, RingBoost licenses the home health industry's most memorable number to regional providers, allowing them to harness the power of an established, nationwide number at an affordable price.
