FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. and NEW YORK, July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- South African Airways (SAA), Africa's most awarded airline and JetBlue Airways have begun code share operations on SAA's flights between Washington, DC-Dulles Airport and Dakar, Senegal.
JetBlue is now placing its "B6" code on SAA-operated flights between Washington, DC-Dulles Airport and Dakar, Senegal in West Africa. "The new code share flights on the Washington, DC-Dakar route is further expansion to the successful code share services that SAA and JetBlue introduced in late 2013 to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and East London in South Africa."
"We are excited to further expand our partnership with South African Airways and add our eighth codeshare route on their network. We now offer our customers more options and connections to and from Africa as we continue to grow our partnership network," said Scott Laurence, Senior Vice President, Airline Planning.
