South Florida Local Economy To Get Boost From Proposed Lauderdale Lakes Aquatic & Entertainment Center Project Local Economy to Get Boost from Proposed Lauderdale Lakes Aquatic & Entertainment Center Project
MIAMI, July 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Real estate developer Paul Anton has secured 25 acres of land in Lauderdale Lakes, FL where he plans to build a state-of-the-art sports aquatic and entertainment complex, thus creating hundreds of new jobs while helping an area that is still struggling from the economic downturn. This project will bring in revenue from locals and tourists alike. The stadium, which is in a prime location off of Commercial Boulevard and Route 441, will host a variety of events including national aquatic meets and various entertainment and concert events. Chad Carroll, a top producer with New York and Miami luxury real estate powerhouse Douglas Elliman, is exclusively representing Mr. Anton on this and other exciting projects.
The 15,000 seat facility is tentatively set to break ground in spring of 2013. While several locations were evaluated for this project, Mr. Anton ultimately felt that the Lauderdale Lakes location had the most desirable features, including the best road construction as well as the opportunity for additional uses, making it the perfect fit for this project. "We have been warmly received in Lauderdale Lakes and pledge to make the best use of this property while giving back to a community that we consider a good neighbor. Our goal with this project is to help revive the local economy while doing something good for the city," said Mr. Anton.
"This sports and entertainment complex will create hundreds of new jobs and pump millions of dollars back into the local economy," added Mr. Carroll. "We eagerly anticipate bringing this exciting project to fruition."
And Mr. Carroll certainly knows a few things about large-scale projects. At just 28 years old, he is a one of Douglas Elliman' s Florida Brokerage most successful agents; for two years running, he has achieved over $50 million dollars in closed sales year to date. He currently has more than $45 million in active listings and recently acquired the listing for one of the highest priced penthouses in the State of Florida, priced at $15 million. Mr. Carroll works tirelessly to set and surpass his professional goals and is the perfect fit to work alongside Mr. Anton on a project of this scale.
Paul Anton has developed several luxury projects in Miami area including the $10 million dollar Leslie Hotel renovation and the rebirth of the famous Carlyle Hotel through a conversion to luxury condos in 2005.
