CRH Healthcare Acquires Patients First's 7 Centers
And Hires Two Key Executives to Support Significant Growth
ATLANTA and TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CRH Healthcare, a quality- and patient-focused operator of urgent care centers in the Southeast, acquired the assets of Patients First's seven centers on July 1st. Originally started in 1989, Patients First has built a reputation as the leading provider of urgent care, primary care and occupational health to consumers and employers alike in the Tallahassee area. Caring for over 100,000 patients per year, it has a strong group of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants that lead the team clinically and an experienced group of clinical and support staff that are focused on delivering a caring, competent, and convenient patient experience. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, CRH Healthcare (CRH) has been the fastest growing urgent care operator in the Southeast over the last three years and is now the operator of twenty-six (26) centers across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
In an effort to further improve both the patient and employee experience in the coming months, CRH will invest significant capital and effort on several key initiatives. A state-of-the-art electronic medical record system that will allow the seamless integration of patient visits across any Patients First center will go live within sixty days. Additional technology solutions will also soon be available to make check-in easier, including from home, work or on-the-go, including enhanced features that will text unscheduled walk-in patients who may prefer to wait off-site. The installation of digital x-ray systems that are both more capable and more efficient than past film systems are already scheduled at all the centers. And finally, many of the facilities themselves will undergo renovation projects to improve their appearance and comfort.
In order to support its growth, CRH has hired two new executives. Neil Levine joined CRH as Vice President of Operations for Patients First where he will be responsible for operations of its seven centers. To ensure a smooth transition of leadership, he is working closely with Brian Webb, Patients First's co-founder and long-time CEO. Mr. Levine comes to CRH as a seasoned healthcare operations executive having held roles at Davita Healthcare Partners, United Allergy Services and Vantage Oncology over the last thirteen years.
Marc Olsen has also joined CRH's Atlanta team as Vice President of Operations for Peachtree Immediate Care in early June. Mr. Olsen will assume the responsibility of day-to-day management for Peachtree Immediate Care's sixteen (16) clinics ensuring operational excellence across the Atlanta metro area. He is a seasoned and trusted leader who has consistently delivered outstanding results in roles at Wellstar Health System, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and as the operations and physician relations lead at a telemedicine company.
