LOS ANGELES, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- McDonald's restaurants in Southern California and nationwide are launching Angus Snack Wraps, a portable version of the Angus Third Pounder™, which was first unveiled in Southern California in 2007. Angus Snack Wraps feature half of an Angus third pound patty (made of 100 percent Angus beef), wrapped in a soft flour tortilla and available in the familiar Angus varieties such as Deluxe, Bacon & Cheese and Mushroom & Swiss.
"The Angus Third Pounder originated in Southern California and we're proud of its success locally and across the nation," stated Neal Ruby, president of the McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California (MOASC). "It's no surprise that the same great ingredients that made the Angus Third Pounder such a hit would be used to expand the Snack Wrap line."
Angus Snack Wraps are now available at participating McDonald's restaurants for the suggested retail price of $1.99. The Snack Wrap line also includes three chicken varieties which can be ordered with either crispy or grilled chicken: the Ranch Snack Wrap, Honey Mustard Snack Wrap and Chipotle BBQ Snack Wrap.
