Southern California McDonald's® Introduces Summer's Bold New Flavors - the Perfect Combination Of Spicy And Cool

LOS ANGELES, June 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Two new summer flavors are now available at Southern California McDonald's® restaurants: the Spicy Chicken McBites and McCafe Chocolate Chip Frappe.

Spicy Chicken McBites
Like Chicken McBites, introduced for a limited time in January 2012, the new Spicy Chicken McBites are crispy, poppable pieces of juicy white chicken breast that are seasoned with a variety of spices to create the perfect balance of heat and flavor that builds with every bite. Spicy Chicken McBites are served in a convenient new package that is perfect for today's busy lifestyles.  The limited time menu item is available at a suggested retail price of $1.99 (Snack, 3 oz.), $2.99 (Regular, 5 oz.) and $4.99 (Shareable, 10 oz.), making Spicy Chicken McBites ideal for any occasion. Additionally, as part of the Spicy Chicken McBites introduction, Southern California McDonald's customers can try the Snack size portion for $1.00 starting today and through June 29, while supplies last. Price and participation may vary.

McCafe Chocolate Chip Frappe
The McCafe Chocolate Chip Frappe is a delightful blended-ice beverage combining the rich tastes of mocha, caramel, coffee and chocolate. Freshly prepared and made to order, the new Chocolate Chip Frappe is available for a limited time only at participating McDonald's restaurants for a suggested retail price of $2.59 (small, 12 oz.). Consumers are invited to try a sample of the new McCafe beverage at Southern California McDonald's restaurants from July 5 through July 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., while supplies last. Price and participation may vary.
