Sportech Racing and Digital Signs Macau Jockey Club

ATLANTA, Sept. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sportech Racing // Digital, a division of Sportech PLC, (LSE: SPO), announces that it has successfully launched a suite of new pari-mutuel betting technologies for its newest customer in Asia, Macau Jockey Club ("MJC"). 

Sportech delivered its Quantum™ System – the world's most widely deployed pari-mutuel betting system – along with new BetJet® Aero™ teller-operated betting terminals and new BetJet® SL 2.5 self-service betting terminals.  MJC also received a new betting website with Sportech's G4 digital framework, the first implementation of G4 in Asia.   Sportech will support the MJC implementation under a long-term service and maintenance agreement. 

The full suite of new technologies and services from Sportech will help to transform the way Macau Jockey Club delivers racing and betting entertainment to their customers.  Quantum™ System offers Macau Jockey Club a significantly expanded list of pools and bet types, and opens the door to seamless direct commingling with international betting partners including Hong Kong Jockey Club.  The BetJet® Aero™ makes teller transactions faster and more accurate and the BetJet® SL 2.5 offers convenient self-service betting with cash, accounts, and vouchers.  The G4 betting website further extends Macau Jockey Club's offerings to customers when not at the racetrack.
