SquareTrade Announces Jeff Stiefler as New Board Member

SAN FRANCISCO, May 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SquareTrade, Inc., the largest independent warranty company, appoints Jeff Stiefler to the company's board of directors. Mr. Stiefler brings with him extensive experience. Most recently, Mr. Stiefler served as the Lead Board Director of Taleo, which was acquired by Oracle for approximately $2 billion.  

Mr. Stiefler has more than 30 years of leadership experience as an executive officer in the financial services and technology industries. As Chairman and CEO, Jeff led Digital Insight's rapid growth to its successful acquisition by Intuit for $1.4 billion in 2007. Previously, Mr. Stiefler was President and a Director of American Express and President and CEO of IDS Financial Services Corporation, which became American Express Financial Advisors and then Ameriprise.
