Edelstein is the first recipient of the Award, which is one of seven other leadership awards the Association grants annually to those whose achievements have enhanced and brought innovation to the medical tourism and international healthcare industry.

He focuses his practice on advising healthcare providers on legal and regulatory issues as well as assisting hospitals and physician groups in the formation of integrated delivery systems, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and medical tourism.
