Star Gallery Announces Follow-Up Exhibition to "American Monsters," "American Gods"
NEW YORK, Aug. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Star Gallery is pleased to announce "American Gods," the follow-up exhibition to "American Monsters." The successful, inaugural show created quite a buzz and Star Gallery expects this new event to be just as much fun. Each American worships his or her private Gods, but also pays homage to our national divine in stadiums and at digital altars all over the country. The pantheon includes gods from the past, present and even the future. Folk heroes, super heroes and anti-heroes inhabit the collective imagination and pop-culture iconography.
A group of special artists were asked to explore this potent theme in any way they wished. This dramatic show is the result of their combined efforts.
An all-star roster of established illustrators and vital, new, young artists are part of this exciting group show. The list of artists includes Tim O'Brien, Thomas Fluharty, Karen Caldicott, Johanna Goodman, Victor Stabin, Hal Hefner, Andrea Arroyo, Kaz, Jody Hewgill, Steven Tabbutt, Anthony Freda, Devin Clark, Christopher Buzelli, Stephanie Dalton, Katherine Streeter, Taylor Callery, Sol Robbins, Brian Stauffer, Billy the Artist, David Miller, Epyon5, Dino Rinaldi, Dan Zollinger, Alfred Albrizio, Nich Chiechi, Jack Anderson, Estephany Lopez, Ava An, Gavin Simmons, Wenkai Mao, Susanne Janssen, and Craig LaRotonda.

Star Gallery specializes in offering original artworks created by some of the most talented and celebrated illustrators and pop-surrealists working today. The current exhibition features paintings, drawings, sculpture and assemblages made by a diverse group of artists working in a wide range of styles and mediums. The artists treatments are as varied as the artists themselves. From lighthearted imagery to more dark and mysterious explorations, this show offers something to appeal to everyone.
Star Gallery founders Anthony and Amber Freda are excited and honored to share these original, compelling visions of the "American Gods" theme with the world. The free event promises to be a night to remember. The opening is planned for Saturday, September 15th, 2018 from 6-9 pm. Star Gallery is Located on Manhattan's Lower East Side at 2 Rivington Street.
