Star Gold Appoints David Segelov as Chief Executive Officer
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho, Oct. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Star Gold Corp. ("Star Gold" or the "Company") (OTC Markets: SRGZ) announced today the appointment of Mr. David Segelov to the position of Chief Executive Officer. The appointment is effective immediately.
Mr. Segelov has more than 15 years of experience in the capital markets and investment industry including providing financial analysis of investments in resource companies for hedge funds. Mr. Segelov has invested in a range of early stage exploration projects encompassing various types of metals; including being an early investor in open pittable gold mines in Mali and Ghana and projects developing silver in New South Wales. Mr. Segelov is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and earned a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University in New York. He also holds a law degree from Sydney University.
