ELLINWOOD, Kan., Aug. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Star of Hope and Reza: Illusionist, are excited to announce the launch of a campaign to provide 640,000 school lunches in Haiti for the next school year. This campaign features a video with an illusion that will leave you asking - How did he do that! Reza's message is simple. You can provide forty children with a lunch for just $10.
The children that Star of Hope works with in Haiti are among the poorest and without a school lunch many would be hungry. Barry Borror, President & CEO said, "I have seen elementary aged children walking to our schools and searching for the smoke over the school that informs them the cooking fires are burning. When that smoke is missing, I've watched some turn around and go home with sadness in their eyes. I know that their day will be filled with foraging for something to eat. The simple equation of "No Food = No school = No Future" is true for these kids."
The project hopes to raise the funds needed for these 640,000 lunches by finding 1,600 new donors who will give $10 per month. This campaign is their first major social media effort.
Hailed by critics as the Nation's Top Touring Illusionist, Reza has sold out venues from Denver to New York, Orlando to Los Angeles, entertaining millions as well as being featured on television and radio in 31 Countries around the World. He has been associated with Star of Hope since 2013.
