StarKist Co. Headquarters Move to Equitable Gas Building on Pittsburgh's North Shore With a Commitment to Growing its Business in Pittsburgh, StarKist Plans on Expanding from 70 to 115 Employees in 2010

PITTSBURGH, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- StarKist Co., a leading producer, distributor and marketer of shelf-stable seafood products in the United States, announced today that the company is now operating from its new headquarters in the Equitable Gas Building (225 North Shore Drive) on Pittsburgh's North Shore. More than 70 StarKist employees will make the move from Del Monte Center this week.

"At StarKist we are committed to Pittsburgh and committed to growing our business in this great city. We currently have approximately 70 employees, but plan on expanding to 115 employees in 2010," said Donald J. Binotto, President and CEO, StarKist Co. "We needed the room to grow and we are thrilled to be relocating our headquarters on the fourth floor of the Equitable Gas Building."

According to Binotto, StarKist will be occupying 32,000 square feet in the building, which is almost double the space they had in the Del Monte Center building. The Equitable Gas Building's amenities include an employee fitness center, a test kitchen for product development, stunning views and easy access to the river-side trails.
