S.T.A.R.T. Triage eLearning Course Offered by Disaster Management Systems, Inc.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., Nov. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Disaster Management Systems, Inc., the nation's leading supplier of disaster preparedness solutions, today announced the availability of a new e-learning course for S.T.A.R.T. triage. The 2-hour stop-and-resume course covers all aspects of S.T.A.R.T. triage including placing learners in a mass-casualty incident setting as a member of a triage unit where they test their triage and operational skills.

Unlike traditional triage lesson plans and PowerPoints that primarily focus only on the triage algorithm itself, this course explains the how and why's of S.T.A.R.T. as well as triage unit tactics, operational area setup, scene safety and even post-operation rehabilitation. Over 20 content-rich videos and quizzes ensure those that graduate have a strong working knowledge of how to conduct triage operations.
