The idea of MyCajita came to fruition after co-founders Alex Lopez and Danny Vivian noticed a loss of culture happening with every passing generation, and a desire by most to stay connected to their culture. The influx of Chinese-made, poor quality, and antiquated styled products led them to search boutique and reputable artisans that reflect authenticity, and quality craftsmanship to source products that would help keep people connected to Mexico's culture.
