Startup Emotion.me is the big winner at the first edition of DEMO Brasil Startup Bizut won first preference among internauts; In the Alpha Pitch category, victory goes to BabySaver; winners in each category will be awarded a place in the 2013 Summer Program at Silicon Valley
SAO PAULO, July 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Startup Emotion.me, the first one-stop-shop for weddings in Brazil, is the big winner at DEMO Brasil, the most important get-together among businessmen and investors on the planet, in the DEMONSTRATOR category (product already finished). Meanwhile, in the ALPHA PITCH category (for high school and college students with innovative ideas), the victory went to BabySaver, a startup that intends to create a safety device to prevent babies from being forgotten inside vehicles.
By winning, both companies are guaranteed a place at the 2013 Summer Program of Silicon House (in August of 2013), where they will spend 28 days receiving all necessary support for the development and improvement of their business, including a relationship with all of Silicon Valley.
