PANEL BIOS:
Greg Owsley is Rockhurst High School's first STEAM Director. With our rapidly changing world, he believes it is an incredibly exciting time to be an educator and strives to serve as a model for his students each day by being a passionate Ignatian educator, a loving husband, and an avid juggler.
Dr. Mandi Sonnenberg is a professor in the Department of Education at Rockhurst University and the director of STEAM Studio. As a former classroom teacher and administrator, she brings both vision and empathy to her passion for transforming today's education models. She practices a hands-on approach to supporting effective teaching and learning in the classroom.
Scott Kreshel manages the Blue Valley School District's acclaimed CAPS Business Accelerator, which exists to support entrepreneurial activity and innovation in schools. He is a committed school leader and community builder, and an advocate of active learning environments that instill creative confidence in our youth.
David Reid is a principal with Gould Evans and a leader in the firm's national practice in Education and Strategic Learning Environments. His thought leadership on projects is informed by ethnographic and post-occupancy research, offering a deeper understanding of the correlation between the built environment and education outcomes.
