Stein + Partners Brand Activation Promotes Ted Kohnen To Chief Marketing Officer
Names The Agency's First CMO To Help Growth And International Opportunities
NEW YORK, Oct. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Stein + Partners Brand Activation (SPBA) has promoted Ted Kohnen to Chief Marketing Officer – a new position at the agency. Kohnen, who joined SPBA in 2007, was previously Vice President of Integrated Marketing.
In his new role, Kohnen will lead the Agency's global expansion efforts while also continuing to advance the Agency's award-winning integrated marketing practice, which includes all display, search, social and mobile media, as well as direct marketing, marketing automation and performance analytics.
As CMO, Kohnen will lead SPBA's participation in the Business Branding Network (BBN), the leading global network of elite, independent business-to-business advertising and marketing agencies. He will work with network partners to identify business opportunities and provide expanded capabilities and reach for global brands. Earlier this year, SPBA became a member of BBN, further strengthening its global footprint.

Over the past year, Kohnen has helped create the Brand Activation Index (BAI) methodology that provides a deeper view around the value of major media investments. He has authored several studies utilizing the BAI: The Super Bowl Brand Activation Index and the Olympics Brand Activation Index.
Prior to joining SPBA, he was the Director of Interactive Services at Posner Advertising, where he headed its interactive division for B2B and B2C clients in real estate, technology, healthcare and recruitment industries. He has also held senior marketing positions at several national non-profit organizations.
