Steven Pierdon, MD, MMM, Named Chief Medical Officer of xG Health Solutions

Pierdon, MD, MMM has been named the organization's Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Pierdon joined xG Health Solutions in 2014 as a Senior Medical Director.

Before joining xG Health, Dr. Pierdon was Chief Medical Officer for Geisinger Northeast. Previously, he was the Chief Medical Officer for Clinical Operations and the Community Practice Service Line at Geisinger Health System.  He led the establishment of the Community Practice Service Line (CPSL), developing its organizational structure, operating procedures, quality enhancement methodologies, and performance based compensation plan.  During his leadership, CPSL initiated chronic disease and preventive care bundled measures, pay-for-performance contracting, and the Medical Home initiative. Dr. Pierdon brings extensive experience in enabling organizations to accelerate their clinical, operational and financial arrangements through value-based care.
