
Stewart Rahr Continues Major Donations

NEW YORK, July 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stewart Rahr, "Stewie Rah Rah", the gregarious billionaire philanthropist continued his generous donations to charity.
On the heels of his record-setting $10 Million donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Rahr donated $1,000,000 to the Global Prostate Cancer Research Foundation. The Foundation is the leading philanthropic organization funding and accelerating prostate cancer research globally. Rahr also donated $450,000 to the Melanoma Research Alliance Foundation.
The most recent Forbes Magazine list showed Rahr at #298 with $1.6 Billion in wealth. When he sold his company, Kinray, the largest independent pharmaceuticals and generics distributor in the world, he created the Rahr Foundation which has $100 Million in assets.

In the past 60 days Rahr has donated more than $600,000 to 50 different charities through an online trivia game via email with his friends. He gives to the charity of his friends' choice when they answer celebrity trivia questions correctly.
Rahr is the world's largest donor to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He is also a donor to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University, the NYU School of Medicine, The Buoniconti Fund, the Robin Hood Foundation, and the Celebrity Fight Night Foundation and many more.
