Storage Post Renovates Long Island City Self Storage Property

ATLANTA, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Storage Post Self Storage has undertaken an $11 million portfolio renovation program for its locations from New York to Louisiana. Renovations include redesigned exteriors, rebranded signage, interior and exterior lighting, flooring upgrades and renovated offices. The company will continue to update and renovate its self storage buildings into 2013 to achieve complete brand cohesion and enhance customer satisfaction.

The newly-renovated Long Island City facility is located on Starr Avenue in Queens and is situated off the Midtown tunnel heading out of Manhattan, exposing it to 200,000 daily commuters. This six-story facility also offers Storage Post's free customer storage shuttle service. Extensive improvements to the building exterior, including branded paint in bold green and vibrant yellow, have positioned the store as an inviting retail space.  Every storage unit now provides climate-control for temperature-sensitive items and two elevators are being installed for easier loading and unloading. Also, remodeled restrooms and loading bays, and a renovated front office with bright signage and merchandise displays, will complement the location's deluxe amenities.
