Storage Post Self Storage Brands Storage Shuttle for Long Island City Location

ATLANTA, Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Storage Post Self Storage is pleased to reveal its newly branded storage shuttle van for its Long Island City self storage facility. The complimentary Storage Post storage shuttle is a convenience feature offered to customers who rent storage space at the 30-28 Starr Avenue location. The shuttle vehicle is a Chrysler Town and Country minivan, with ample seating and standard safety features such as side curtain airbags.

The shuttle service is offered to Long Island City customers only, and is designed to pick up tenants at the local train station or their nearby home to bring them to their Storage Post unit. Once the customers visit their units, the storage shuttle will provide a return trip – as often as once a month for home pick-ups. This free service is offered to each tenant, although arrangements should be made in advance to avoid overbooking.

Storage Post Vice President of Operations Pete Gioiello said, "The idea for the storage shuttle arose when we noticed that many of our clientele were taking cabs or other public transportation just to pick up an item from their storage unit. To make sure everyone receives the best service, we decided to create an easier way for customers to retrieve items."

In addition to the free shuttle, Long Island City customers also enjoy climate-controlled storage units and recent upgrades to the interior and exterior of the building.
